This Privacy Policy explains what data MahjongMate : Scorekeeper (the "App") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The App is provided by Relic Inc. ("Relic", "we", "us").

We designed the App to collect as little data as possible. The App works fully offline; signing in and cloud sync are optional.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Relic Inc., a company organized under the laws of Japan, is the controller of personal data collected through the App.

2. What we collect

2.1 Data stored locally only (never sent to our servers)

• Your gameplay preferences (game type, starting score, round length).
• Onboarding completion state.
• Score Helper usage counters used to enforce the monthly free-tier limits.

This data lives in your device's local storage (AsyncStorage) and is deleted when you delete the App.

2.2 Data we collect when you sign in

If — and only if — you tap Sign in with Apple:

• Apple user identifier — a stable, opaque ID Apple gives us. We use it as your account key.
• Email address — only if you choose to share it (you may select "Hide My Email" in the Apple sign-in sheet, in which case we receive a relay address).
• Full name — only if you choose to share it on first sign-in.

2.3 Data we collect when you use cloud sync (signed in only)

• Game records — game type, round labels, end timestamps, the player names you typed in, and final scores.
